ABEOKUTA- The committee saddled with the responsibility of hosting a befitting 80th birthday for the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, HRM Oba Aremu Gbadebo has released the Itinerary for the event.
The event, according to the Itinerary released during a press briefing by the Chairman, Organising Committee, Chief Oluyinka Kufile will kick start on Friday, 8th of September, 2023 with a Chieftacy Installations at the Adire Hall.
This is to be followed by Abeokuta Road Race on Saturday according to the itenary gotten by The News Ville.
Other event will include, a Medical Screening at the Amphitheatre Basement, a Visit to the Daniel Akintonde School of the Physically Challenged, Stella Obasanjo Orphanage Home, and the Lepers’ Colony, Sacred Heart Hospital, Lantoro, Abeokuta
The event will also include the dedication of museum and library/Light Entertainment, which will herald an Evening with Alake
On Wednesday, the 13th day of September, 2023 Townships, Communities, Cultural groups, Society and Clubs will pay homages to the monarch at the Ake Palace Amphitheatre.
Other varieties of event have been included in the Itinerary to make the celebration colourful, amongst others.
The 80th birthday celebration will however be concluded with a Golf and Squash Tournament in honour of the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland.
