ABEOKUTA — As the world celebrates the dawn of a new year, 2024, the Olu Of Imasayi-Yewa, HRM Oba Lukman Adeleke Kuoye Rtn has assured Ogun indigenes, Nigerians and the world at large of hope in seeming economic crisis.
Oba Kuoye in his new year message, shared by his Media Consultant, Hakeem Adegbenro to newsmen in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, stated that Nigerians should not give up on the current administration of Dapo Abiodun, and President Bola Tinubu.
He added that despite the seemingly hopelessness in the economy, insecurity and lack, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel according to him is not very long!
“I want to wish everyone around the world a Happy New Year, 2024.
“To my fellow Nigerians, Ogun state indigenes, don’t not despair, don’t give up as I see light at the end of this tunnel, in no distant time.
“Our hope is hinge on the so many economic recovery plans of the government, as we hope that we all contributes our own quota as citizens to make our country the best we wish for.
“Imasayi-Yewa will experience a paradigm shift in 2024”, he added
Oba Kuoye therefore call on government at all levels to carry the citizens along in their policies formulations, adding that a knowledgeable citizens will not agitate unnecessarily.
“In 2024, as governments, let the citizens be aware of the operations of government in order for them to key into those policies and not agitate.
