ABEOKUTA– Members of the Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), Ogun state chapter have elected, Olude Isa Owolabi as their Chairman to run the affairs of the association for the next four years.
At the 4th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference in Abeokuta, the state capital on Wednesday Owolabi polled 77 votes to defeat his rival, Oridota Lateef Aremu who polled 32 votes.
Members of the association also elected Okuneye Rotimi and Oyesola James as Vice Chairmen into the new team to drive ASCSN to the next level.
In the same vein, elected as Ex-Officio members are Sekinat Majekadegbe, Owolabi Akinbode, Ogidan Olatunji, Solomon Taiwo and Tejuoso Felicia.
Others are Ogunbanjo Kayode and Sofola Idowu, both, as Internal Auditor.
The Chairman in his acceptance speech, after the declaration, ascribed his landslide victory to God’s mercy and favour.
Owolabi pledged to render selfless services, adding that he would prioritise the desire of every member of the association and carry them along in the scheme of things during his tenure.
“We shall ensure everybody is carried along along in the scheme of things. In the course of carrying out the enormous task of moving our great association to the next level, we shall make honesty, transparency, equity, fairness, diligence and integrity. “
