ABEOKUTA– The Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) Ogun State Command has assured residents of the state of tight security and protection of lives and property during the Eid-Ed-Kabir Celebration.
The command, through it’s Director of Information and Public Relations, DCC Moruf Yusuf stated that it has deployed Officers and Men of the Corps in their various commands throughout the State to make sure they provide adequate security for the people of Ogun State.
“The stand of the Corps Commander remains that the Federal and State Governments instructions given on the Covid-19 should further be respected as the Corps will not overlook any act of disobedience to the orders . Meanwhile everybody is expected to kindly comply”
“In furtherance to this, the Corps Commander has instructed all Officers and Men of the Corps to always carry out their lawful security duties as they complement the Nigeria Police Ogun State Command led by Commissioner of Police Cp Edward Awolowo Ajogun psc and the rest security agencies with utmost respect for human rights” Moruf said in a press release
He further stated that this year 2020 So-Safe Corps ”Operation Peaceful Eid-il-Kabir” will strictly ensure that everyone respect the instructions of the Governments and this takes effect from Wednesday, July 29,2020 through Wedneday, August 12, 2020.
The leadership of the Corps assure all Ogun residents of a tight security before during and after the Eid.
