ABEOKUTA–The Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom, Chief Olumide Aderinokun has condoled Barr. Taiwo Shote and his family over the death of his mother, Alhaja Adenike Busrat-Shote.
Chief Aderinokun sympathised with Barr. Shote and his family in a condolence statement signed by his media aide, Taiye Taiwo on Saturday evening.
“I understand the pain and grief of losing one’s mother,” read the statement .
“Mama’s demise is a great loss to our friend and the entire Shote family. She was a pillar of support to her children.
“Her untimely death has created a big vacuum. The pain of an untimely death is immeasurable, and we pray that God grant Barr. Shote and the entire family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
The statement added that Aderinokun’s thoughts and prayers are with Barr. Shote and the family of the bereaved in their moment of grief.
Alhaja Shote died in the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness.
She is survived by children and grandchildren.
