Ogun NUJ Dissolves All Pre-election Standing Commitees

ABEOKUTA — The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun state council, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju has dissolved all pre-election standing committees set up by the outgone caretaker committee of the council

In a released signed by the Chairman, a copy made available to The News Ville by the secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the council boss said the Political Debate Committee is also affected by the dissolution.

He added that all documents and property of the union with such committees should be handed over to the State Secretary not later than Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

“The Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council, Comrade ‘Wale Olanrewaju has approved the dissolution of all standing committees, including the Political Debate Committee, with immediate effect.

“He directs that all documents and property of the union with such committees should be handed over to the State Secretary not later than Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

“Appreciating members of these committees for their dedication to service, the NUJ Chairman wishes them well in their future endeavours”, the statement reads
