ABEOKUTA– The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council congratulates the new executives of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter led by Comrade Michael Ogunsiji.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and the Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, it stated that the time to play politics are over and working to move the Association as an affiliate of the Union in Ogun state should commence immediately as nothing good can happen in an atmosphere where there is no peace.
The Union assures the new executives of an open door policy as the Chairman is an automatic member of the State Working Committee (SWC) and his expertise will be needed to continue with the ongoing development and the fresh air enjoyed at the state level in recent time.
The Union also congratulates other members of executives and wishes them a successful tenure in office.
