ABEOKUTA– A real estate agent, Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye has been allegedly accused of encroaching on the land allocated to an Indian investor by the Ogun State Government.
The land is located at Osopo village, Ibadan Express Way, Sagamu, Ogun State.
Our correspondent gathered that the Indian investor who is the owner of Global Nigeria Limited has been investing on the land since he got the land from the state Government and has many workers working for him on the land
A reliable source who spoke to our correspondent revealed that Alhaji Owoeye and his boys bieseged the land with dangerous weapons, where by the workers were beaten black and blue
After beating up the indian investor and his workers Owoeye also called policemen to arrest them and they were taken to police station.
The source said “Alhaji Owoeye and his boys besieged on a land belonging to an indian investor and attacked him and his workers with their dangerous weapons after beating them up they also took them to police station.
“The Indian man was handcuffed but has been released but his workers are still in the police station. The land in question was allocated to the indian man by the Government and this same Owoeye knew about it before involving in the unlawful act.
