ABEOKUTA — The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State has stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is a party presently in ‘intensive care’ which remains will be laid to rest after the 2023 general elections.
The PDP Youth leader in Ogun state, Hon. Oyejide Sunkanmi made this known in his appreciation message to members of the party, Ogun citizens for the successful Victory walk held on Friday.
Suco, as fondly called, Sunkanmi noted that the success of the walk has furthered emboldened the people of Ogun State that victory is assured and hopes will not be dashed by the party.
“Ogun State APC is presently in intensive Care and I know that they will not get better until the party packs up on the 25th of February 2023 and their remains will be buried on the 11th of March 2023.
“The truth of the matter is that our long lost love that we have now found has put the dying APC into problems and jeopardy. The very unique way we flagged off our campaign has sent shivers to their spines.
“The results of the Victory walk has furthered emboldened us and the people of Ogun State that our victory is assured and our hopes will not be dashed”, he added.
Sunkanmi however lauded the contributions of party leaders, entertainment Influencers, sports Influencers, the media as well as the youth constituency for their part in the successful outing.
He therefore urged for continued efforts at sensitizing the populace on the need to vote the PDP at all levels of elections in 2023, saying that, “a vote for the PDP, is a vote for liberation”.
