The transition chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide held a meeting today with the Market heads and executives all over Abeokuta South local government.
At the meeting they discussed the ways in which the market standards will improve and move forward.
The chairman also encouraged them to be up and doing ,saying that it will go a long way in helping them to achieve positively.
According to him, development plans were shared for markets within the local govt, the meeting also gave them the opportunity to discuss part of the challenges they are facing.
Meanwhile, the market heads and executives promised their full cooperation, saying that they will discharge the very best of them so as to contribute to the growth of the Local Government in market aspects.
They expressed joy after the meeting and they wished the committee the best throughout their tenure.
According to them, we were happy because Hon. Shomide and his cabinet have us in mind and in their plans.
The meeting was an opportunity for them to meet with the transition committee chairman and his members.
