ABEOKUTA– The Olu of Imasayi-Yewa, HRM Oba Lukman Adeleke Kuoye has felicitated with the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, HRM Oba Dr. ESV Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, MFR on the successful celebration of the 30th Oronna Day Festival.
Oba Kuoye in his congratulatory message signed by his Media Consultant, Hakeem Adegbenro and made available to newsmen noted that the unity and stability of Yewaland under Oba Olugbenle has further cemented his father figure status in the whole of Yewaland.
He further lauded the massive traditional, cultural and social display of the sons and daughters of the land, saying that the festival is a veritable tools to boost the socio-economy of Yewaland.
“Oronna Day from time memorial is a veritable culture monument of our people. The 30th of it’s kind is a testament to the resolve of our people to stay united, politically and socially.
“I therefore pray that we witness more of the celebration, in unity of purpose that will continue to bring the desired development to our region, and our people”, Oba Kuoye said.
The monarch further extend his warmest felicitations to all political office holders from Yewa extractions, amongst who is Sen. Olamilekan Adeola Solomon popularly known as Yayi, who according to him has brought tremendous federal presence to the senatorial district since assumption of the 10th assembly.
