ABEOKUTA– The Seal of love Choir of the Cherubim and Seraphin Church Movement (Ayo Ni O), Surulere District, Abeokuta Branch on Saturday hosted its 33rd Choir Day amidst glorious rendition of songs of praise and worship.
The event, themed ‘The Redeemed’ drew worshippers from different denominations in sync harmonious varieties of activities as drama, and special renditions from invited guest ministers.
The Leader in Charge, Sp. AP. Pastor I A Famodimu while admonishing the congregants stated that God in his infinite mercy began the redemption of man immediately he fell short of His plans for humanity.
“This truth did not begin now, the journey of redemption began from the fall of man. When humanity lost fellowship with God, and fell from His original state. From that moment, God in His mercy began a redemption plan.
“He sent His patriarchs, He raised prophets and He established the law, each of these revealed His intention to bring man back to Himself, but yet man couldn’t fully accomplished the agenda of heaven.
“Then the price came, a price that was weighty and costly, a price that brought remission of sins, rebirth of the spirit and restoration of destiny. That price was paid on the cross by Jesus Christ’, he said
Meanwhile, the Choir Master, Apostle Bayo Idowu in his address noted that the event was not just a gathering for signing, but an atmosphere that create a lifestyle that continually expresses gratitude and devotion to God.
He added that, “our songs are not just ordinary, they carry evidence of redemption, they carry the sound of victory, they carry the sound of freedom and they carry the sound of hope and eternal reign with God”.
