ABEOKUTA– The Director – General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Hon. Bukola Olopade has promised to deliver goals as he leads the attack of Southern Sports Writers Association (SWAN) in a novelty match against its’ Northern counterpart.
The match billed to kick off by 7am at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta is a traditional match between sports writers covering the National Sports Festival, Gateway Games 2024 In Ogun state.
The novelty will therefore serve as the first match to be played at the refurbished stadium, named after the winner of the 1993 presidential election, Chief MKO Abiola.
The much anticipated match is expected to be thrilling, and exciting with Chief Olopade leading the attack, just as fans and sports enthusiasts are invited to experience the spectacle from Nigeria’s best sports writers.
