ABEOKUTA– The Olu of Orile Ilawo, in Ogun state, Oba Olusegun Alexander Macgregor has appealed to Nigerian to exercise patience with the President Bola Tinubu new administration.
The monarch made this known on the sideline of the South West zonal meeting of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) held at the NUJ Secretariat, Iwe Irohin, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
Oba Macgregor noted that Nigeria is a very difficult country to govern, he however said President Tinubu is in a better stead having understand the challenges facing the country.
“My prayer for Tinubu is that may God grant him good health, a fortitude to bear the challenges of Nigeria, may God grant him all the promises he made to the people of Nigeria.
“Nigeria is a very difficult country to govern. There is no one better than Bola Ahmed Tinubu that understand challenges and has ability to rally the people around him to bring the solution to the challenges.
“He should not forget the promises because when he came to Abeokuta to say ‘Emilokan’ and now ‘Awalokan’ to ask him. I truly believe he would fulfil his promises.
“He has many people around him, he has many ability to see talents. He is a person who knows how to scout for talents. Nigerians have to be patient and support him with prayers. There will be difficult time but a good time is ahead of us” he added
