Journalists boycotts Ogun Governor’s Press Briefing Over Incessant Time Wasting

Journalists in Ogun State today left angrily the Oke Mosan office of the governor over incessant delays being experienced during press briefings called by the state government.

The journalists, who were called to report for the press briefing as at 2pm became apprehensive around 7pm when it became obvious they might not be attended to till late in the night as usual.

Some of the newsmen from correspondents, consolidated, and Federated chapels complain that it is now a common practice with the state governor to delay them during events without explanations and this they say would be totally rejected.

Recalled that during the last press briefing of the governor at his Iperu residence, journalists also complain of same treatment which could have been the reason for their action.
