ABEOKUTA– The Chairman and founder of Solex Group of Hotels, Alh. Wasiu Adebanjo has been awarded the Ogun Man Of The Youth Award.
The Graduate of Economics, from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye was presented the award at the Synergy Meritorious Award Nite held recently at Spicy, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta.
While appreciating the organisers of the award, Wasiu who is also the Ogun East Chairman, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) advised that the Nigerian political spheres needs the vibrancy and energy of the youths.
“I feel great and happy about this award, especially that it’s coming from the youth constituency. It is a signal that I need to do more, and I need to encourage more youths knowing that we can still do more because they are future of tomorrow.
“Anything we are doing, we should always thrive to do it in good manner.
“I want to tell the youths to come out, that the Nigeria of today, they have to be involved in politics and governance, with good behavior and not in a violent way”, he emphasized
