ABEOKUTA– As part of activities marking this year’s Ramadan, an aspirant to the Ogun State House of Assembly, Prince Adewale Adesina popularly known as FeelingCool has organized a ramadan lecture for his constituents.
The lecture which held at his family compound at Fibigbade Igan quarter Ago Iwoye area of Ijebu, had in attendance leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), drawn from different wards of the local government.
Speaking on the topic, Ifesowapo (Love&unity), Alhaji Ambali Azeez noted that the holy month of Ramadan is hinged on the sacrificial love of almighty Allah for his subjects.
He admonised Muslim Faithfuls to love their neighbors, saying that it is only through it, we can build a nation we dreamt of
“Love, is the greatest of all. When we love ourselves, we will not hurt each other. Therefore, we can build a nation free of rancor and hatred for one another.
“As we approach the 2023 electioneering campaigns, it is my wish that politicians tow the line of love for a peaceful transition.
Speaking with newsmen after the lecture, Prince Adewale Adesina appreciated the participants who thronged the venue for the lecture even at short notice, saying that it further shows the desire of an average Nigeria to know his maker the more.
“I want to appreciate the leadership of our party, from the Vice Chairman, Ijebu North Local Government, Party Chairman, all ward councilors, and members of our party who made this lecture a success. We can only get better next year”, Adesina noted
He however called on all political parties to see each other as vehicle for change and not enemies, saying that with Love, the nation can be stronger and united.
