An aspirant from Ward 1, Sagamu Local Government for the post of Councillor, Mr Ogundare Olatunde Oluwaseun has congratulated the Caretaker Committee members sworn in to manage the affairs of the Local government.
Speaking with the NewsVille correspondent after the swearing in ceremony at the Cultural centre, Kuto Abeokuta, Akile said the appointment of Mrs Funmi Efuwape as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Hon. Gbenga Baruwa as Chairman, Caretaker Committee of Sagamu Local government is well deserved, adding that he will give them maximum support to succeed.
“The governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been so magnanimous with us in sagamu Local government, only last week he picked one of our industrious woman leader, Mrs Funmi Efuwape as a commissioner in his cabinet, so we can only wish his administration well”
“Hon. Baruwa is a thorough bred Sagamite, who has done alot for the Local government area so his appointment is not surprising to us. We will always stand by him and assists in whatever way for him to succeed on this enormous tasks” he said.
The aspirant, who with his little contribution has used his office to assist several youths in his community to gain employment with Nestle Nigeria, Flowergate Factory, Sagamu said he is willing to do more when given the mandate to serve the people as a councillor.
He therefore urge the appointees to use their office to further contribute to the developmental strides of the governor in the state, adding that it is their experience to deliver that endeared them to the governor.
