Popular Fuji Musician, Alhaji (Dr.) Sefiu Alao Adekunle popularly known as ‘Baba Oko’ has appointed Mr Saheed Ojubanire as the new media manager and publicist to his Fuji Cadoso Organisation.
Speaking at the unveiling at its corporate office in Abeokuta, Sefiu Alao said his organisation decide to engage a media professional in order to be fully involve in the age of social media adding that a brand such as his, needs a proper channel for which information is sent out.
“We have decided to engage a print media professional because we are in the age of social media where a lot of stories, both true and untrue, pop up by the minutes online, and the people will not know which to believe or dismiss as fake news”
“So, this means proper information management by a brand like our own is key in this kind of time. Therefore, by having our own designated media man, we believe every story, before being published by reputable media organisations like yours can be verified through our media office”
Mr Saheed Ojubanire is a seasoned journalist of more than 15 years experience with popular celebrity magazine, City People, and also a signed content creator with the fast growing Opera News Hub on the internet. He is also a contributor to a number of other entertainment publications in Nigeria.
Speaking with newsmen after his unveiling, Mr Ojubanire describe his appointment as an act of God adding that it was easy for him to accept the offer having been working with the Fuji Maestro from the background since 2009.
” I met Alhaji while working with City People as a correspondent in Abeokuta. My organisation was planning an event and I was saddled with the responsibility of liasing with artistes so the bond was mutual from the beginning”
“So when this offer came, it was easy accepting it because I have been in the background working as Media assistant with his organisation” Ojubanire said
