Oba Abdulrasak Famuyiwa, the Onipapa of Papalanto paid host to members of the Unlimited Club of Nigeria in his Palace, the Club is a movement of young Nigerians who embark on humanitarian services in Ogun State.
The visit was necessary after the Club had its inaugural symposium to discuss the importance of youths in the society.
Balogun Ayobami, a leader of the Club who led the team to the Palace thanked Oba Abdulrasak for making out time despite his busy schedule to give words of wisdom to them.
He stressed that youths have roles to play in nation building, and that the Club is ready to play it’s own part by embarking on humanitarian services to benefit the society directly.
The President of the Club, Dada Babajide lamented the rate at which many youths have lost touch with their roles in nation building, he attributed it to insufficient knowledge about what youths need to do to contribute their quota to the development of the society.
Oba Abdulrasak advised the youths to uphold their spirit of patriotism, saying that the inclusion of youths in governance is not negotiable.
He commended members of the Club, reminding them of their contribution which is highly needed to develop the society
