ABEOKUTA — The Olu Of Imasayi-Yewa, HRM Oba (Rtn) Amb. Lukman Adeleke Kuoye, Fcim has felicitated with Christians in Ogun State, and Nigeria on the celebration of the Christmas.
In his congratulatory message made available by his Media Consultant, Hakeem Adegbenro, the monarch admonished the Christian faithfuls to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ.
He added that the celebration of the birth of Jesus and his life’s ministry on earth should serve as an example, which shows that love and sacrifice should be the paramount lifestyle every human must inherit.
“I want to congratulate all Christians in Imasayi-Yewa, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole on the celebration of Christmas.
“The birth and life of Jesus Christ is a good example of Love and Sacrifice. This two pillars of life should be our watchword as we celebrate.
“I therefore wish everyone a wonderful Christmas, while hoping that we shall all have a more prosperous new year ahead”, the statement reads.
