ABEOKUTA- The Olu Of Imasayi-Yewa, HRM Oba Lukman Adeleke Kuoye has congratulated the government and people of Ogun state on the celebration of 48 years of creation.
The monarch in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen through his media consultant, Hakeem Adegbenro commends Governor Dapo Abiodun on his commitment to the ethos of the founding fathers of the state.
Ogun was created in 1976 by the regime of the late General Murtala Mohammed
Oba Kuoye, who acknowledged the various challenges of governance and democracy in the country, however lauded the expertise and dedication of Ogun indigenes who have achieved firsts in various field in the last 48 years.
“I want to use this medium to congratulate the government and good people of the state on the remarkable turn of 48 years of creation.
” My special regards to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON for staying firm on the ethos of our founding fathers, in terms of infrastructural and socio economic development.
“The pace of development under this current administration is a testament to the never accepting second place of Ogun spirit
” Ogun state has been known for achieving various firsts in our chooses endeavors in the last 48 years”, Oba Kuoye added
He however called for more peaceful coexistence between the indigenes and residents of the state, for more development strides, saying that insecurity will affects the development of the state.
” As we forge ahead to achieve more years, I hereby call on the good people of the state, the indigenes and non-indegenes alike to support the government in achieving it’s ‘Building Our Future Together’ mantra as encapsulated in ISEYA.
“We must join hands to ensure the security of our environment, as no meaningful development happens in the place of insecurity”, he noted
