ABEOKUTA–The Olu of Imasayi-Yewa, HRM Oba Lukman Adeleke Kuoye has congratulated the newly sworn in commissioners from Yewa extractions under the Dapo Abiodun led administration.
The commissioners were sworn in on Friday at an event held at the Oba’s complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta the state capital.
Amongst those sworn in from Yewa extractions are, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka from Imeko, Imeko-Afon LG, Jagunmolu Jamiu Akande-Omoniyi from Joga-Orile, Yewa North LGA, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan from Ilaro-Yewa, Yewa South LGA and Chief Sesan Fagbayi, from Ejila-Awori, in Ado-Odo-Ota LGA.
In the congratulatory message made available to newsmen through his media consultant, Hakeem Adegbenro, Oba Kuoye appreciated the governor for the confidence repose in the appointees, saying that they should hit the ground running immediately.
“Now that the governor has inaugrated his cabinet, I want to urge those appointed, especially those from the Yewa extractions not to disappoint His Excellency.
“Some of them are returning and as they say the expectations of the people are high. So, they must hit the ground running immediately and compliment the governor’s effort in making life meaningful for our people”, the monarch said
Oba Kuoye therefore commend the governor for looking in the directions of the Yewa people in his appointments, adding that the confidence will be repaid with an unalloyed loyalty.
