ABEOKUTA– As the race to install leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Abeokuta South Local Government area hots up, the choice of the local government excos has divided the leaders and chieftains in the local government.
It was disclosed that most leaders of the party are of the opinion that the current transition chairman, Henry Tunji Fagbenro has not performed well and should not be retained.
However, consideration for new members, who have joined the party, to be allowed to attend the meeting was profoundly opposed by Chief Femi Majekodunmi.

As at the time of filing this report, decampees from the PDP and ADC were sent out of the meeting by Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, whose house the meeting was held.
Leaders who were present at the meeting include: Chief Femi Majekodunmi, Hon. Moruf Afuwape, Hon Yusuf Adejojo, Hon Laja Majekodunmi, Hon. Tobi Doregos, and Alhaji Farouk Akin tunde
