The wife of the General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC), Rev. Fola Achudume through her Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), ‘Save Her Foundation’ has concluded plans to hold a virtual meeting aimed at raising awareness against rape.
The webinar which is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 11, 2020 with the tagged “War Against Rape’ will be streamed live stream on Facebook at ‘saveherfoundation.com’ from 12noon
The convener disclosed that among the facilitators of the well packaged webinar will include the Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Funmi Efuwape, President All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools,(ANCOPSS), Dr.A.O.Womiloju, and the Acting Secretary, West African Law and Religious Society, Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, as well as the General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.
Rev. Fola Achudume who is passionate about issues relating to the girl-child posited that the body of every female is sacred and should not be turned to a war zone through abuse, molestation and rape.
She further reiterates that all hands must be on deck against rape, adding that rape should not be swept under the carpet.
She also emphasized the need that the women and every girl child should be guaranteed security and safety.
