Badmus Qaudri, a 23 years old man has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command for defiling a 3 year old girl at the Owode Egbado area of the state.
Badmus was arrested following a complain by the victim’s mother who reported at the area police station that she noticed blood at the private part of her 3 year old daughter when she came back from market, adding that when she interogated her daughter, she revealed that it was Quadri who took her into his room and had carnal knowledge of her.
The police public relations officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi in a press release stated that the DPO Owode Egbado division SP Olabisi Elebutte led her detectives to the area where the suspect who is a neighbor to the parents of the victim was promptly arrested after the victim identified him.
The victim has since been taken to the general hospital, idiroko where it was confirmed that she has been defiled.
“The commissioner of police CP Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered the transfer of the case to anti human trafficking and child labour unit of state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution”
” The CP also reteirates the readiness of the command to deal decisively with anybody who involved himself in act of violence against women in accordance with the law of the land” Oyeyemi said
