Former Prison Inmate Back In Police Net For Robbery

One Kehinde Shoboyede, who was once convicted for robbery has been rearrested again by men of Ogun State Police Command for robbery related offences within Agbado area of the state.

The Ogun State police public relations officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi stated in a press release that the suspect, who was just released from prison was arrested on the 9th of June 2020 when the people of the area started noticing series of robbery incidents.

It further stated that the DPO Agbado division, SP Kuranga Yero embarked on intelligence based investigation through which the detectives got clue leading to the suspect’s arrest.

On interogation, Kehinde confessed to have been the person carrying out series of robbery operation in Agbado and it’s environs in collaboration with one man who he simply identified as Rafiu, presently at large.

Recovered from him includes, tne cut to size locally made pistol, four live cartridges and one sharp knife.

Meanwhile, the commissioner of police CP Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the special anti robbery squads SARS for discreet investigation. He equally directed that his partner in crime must be hunted for and brought to Justice.
