ABEOKUTA– The Presidential candidate of People’s Redemption Party ( PRP), Kola Abiola has described the late Ogun state governorship candidate of the party, Prof. David Bamgbose as a people oriented man who stood for true education for all.
Abiola made this assertion while paying glowing tributes to the late politician at a service held in his honour at Peace and Love Church, in Abeokuta on Saturday.
He lamented his inability to meet Bamgbose before his demise, saying that the deceased would not be forgotten by the party and his legacies will be part of the party’s strategies for campaign in 2023.
“We have a grand plan which he will have been part of but PRP is a big family and he will never be forgotten. His legacies will be part of our strategies for campaign in next year’s election”.
“I plan to work closely with him as educationist. We have many professors in PRP. We want to assure you all that we will give equal leverage to education for all. You are part of PRP. It is a shame I never get to meet him.
“He is people oriented person and that’s what I stand for”, Abiola said
In his remarks, Apostle Achudume noted that Bamgbose will be solely missed, saying that his involvement in politics is a shiny example for others to emulate.
