ABEOKUTA– Popular Electronics Merchant in Ogun State, Oluwalogbon Electronics has become the official title sponsor for the third SWAN Media Cup.
SWAN MEDIA CUP is a 5-Aside football competition among journalists in Ogun state.
The competition tagged “SWAN/Oluwalogbon Electronics Media Cup” is organized by the Ogun state chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) to foster unity and strengthen existing relationship among the members of the fourth estate of the realm.
Announcing the sponsorship deal during a meeting with the SWAN Executive members on Tuesday, the Managing Director, Oluwalogbon Electronics, Mr. Solomon Enilolobo restated his determination to continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of the state.
Enilolobo who described SWAN as a viable professional body, assured that he would be part of the success story of the third edition of the competition.
Enilolobo said his resolve was to ensure that, he contributed his own quota to the economic advancement of the state through sports, politics and social engagement.
Earlier, the SWAN Chairman, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji explained that the 5-Aside football competition had remained an annual event for journalists in the state to engage in physical exercise aside their usual writing.
Ogunsiji thanked Mr. Enilolobo for being in the vanguard of promoting sports and youth development in the state.
The SWAN Chairman noted that the competition which is expected to kick start in June 7, 2024 will remain a reference point in the near future.
