ABEOKUTA — The Olu of Imasayi-Yewa, HRM Oba Lukmon Adeleke Kuoye has lauded the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on the construction of Imasayi-Ayetoro Road.
The monarch in a press statement made available to newsmen by his media aide, Hakeem Adegbenro noted that the importance of the road to the socio-economic development of the Ogun West cannot be overemphasized.
The road construction will serves as a major connecting route for people traveling between Ayetoro, through Igan Okoto, Imasayi, Iboro and down to Ilaro or for people trying to also connect Abeokuta via any of the aforementioned areas.
“I want to specifically thank the Governor for this development. The road is
strategic to ease movement for both vehicular and agricultural produces. It will further help to reduce the cost of products in our markets”, Oba Kuoye said
The governor in a statement announcing the construction of the road said his administration will continue to provide basic amenities needed for the citizens, adding that it will not leave one area in isolation.
“We are done with the first phase of Imasayi-Ayetoro road reconstruction project in Yewa North Local Government Area.
“Our administration will keep providing basic socio-economic amenities needed to make life more meaningful for our people across the Gateway State, without developing one area at the detriment of another” the governor said
