ABEOKUTA — The senatorial candidate for Ogun East under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ajirotutu Oluwafemi Wasiu has thrown his weight behind the aspiration of Ladi Adebutu, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate
In an exclusive interview with The News Ville on Saturday, Wasiu said the leadership qualities of Ladi Adebutu necessitated his will to merge his support groups in support of the Lado-Akinlade candidacy.
He therefore urged all his supporters to see the merger as a well thought out decision in the best interest of the state, saying that the Lado-Akinlade government is what the state needs at the moment.
“Ladi Adebutu and Akinlade is the best combination for Ogun state in 2023. They are the best for the job. The whole of Ogun state should support them.
“With the look of things, we at the NNPP don’t have a choice than to merge with them. All the members of the Ajirotutu and WASCO foundation have pledged their support for the candidacy of Ladi Adebutu and his Deputy, Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade
“Ladi Adebutu is a good listener. He also believes in the power of the youth. He always do all that he has promised. He was a former lawmaker at the national level. So, it is this kind of person we need in Ogun state”, Wasiu reteirated
