ABEOKUTA– An aspirant to the Ogun State House of Assembly, Prince Adewale Adesina, popularly known as FeelingCool has congratulated Christians on the climax of the lenting (Fasting) period.
In a press statement issued by his media aide, Hakeem Adegbenro which was made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, Adesina also felicitates with the Christians faithful as they mark the Easter Celebration.
Adesina, who is gunning to represent Ijebu North Constituency 2 however enjoined Christians to use the opportunity provided by the season to interceed for the unity and progress of the country.
He opined that the unusual opportunity given by God to merge both Christians and Muslims fasting period to the same period is timely, even as the country traverse it’s transitional elections in 2023.
“The fasting period of both religion coming as the same period is a divine timely orchestration of God to provide us an opportunity to interceed on behalf of our country, Nigeria.
“Therefore, we must use this opportunity wisely as we go to the polls in 2023 to usher in new leadership for our country. It is my believe that if we all pray for a better country, then we must follow it by coming out to vote in our preferred candidates.
“I therefore congratulates our christian brothers and sister as you celebrate Easter, a season of love and divine sacrifice examplify by Jesus Christ.
“It is my believe that we will use this opportunity granted us by God to sacrifice much more for our country to have a better future”, FeelingCool added
The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday, the 15th of April and Monday, 18th April, 2022 as public holidays to mark the Easter Celebration
