ABEOKUTA–The Chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), in Ogun State , Alhaji Titilayo Akibu “Efele” has empowered members of his executive with exotic car gifts and other members with generating sets as part of activities to mark the one year anniversary of Akibu as the state chairman of RTEAN in Ogun state.
The cars, apart from being given for official use, the Chairman, said the gift are rewards for the members’ hardwork and commitment to the progress of the Union.
Alhaji Akibu further described it as a way of paying back the executives who have made his tenure so far seamless since assuming office.
He added that he won’t stop at ensuring that members of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Ogun state Chapter are comfortable as well as getting the best in terms of welfare and other social services.
Some of the beneficiaries while speaking with newsmen thanked the Chairman, Alhaji Titlayo Akibu for the gesture. They said its the first since the inception of the administration.
They however pledged their loyalty to the Alhaji Titilayo Akibu led administration.
