ABEOKUTA- The Ogun State Security Network code named Amotekun Corps has announced the commencement of the screening exercise for all new applicants into the security agency.
This was contained in a press release made available to newsmen by Col. Bakare T T (Rtd), adding that the initiative is aimed at strengthening its commitment to ensuring safety and security within the communities.
“The screening process will take place in five (5) designated centers across the State, starting from Tuesday, 29th April, 2025, and concluding on Saturday, 10th May, 2025.
“Applicants are encouraged to attend their respective centers on the specified dates for a seamless process”, the statement reads.
The screening schedule for Ijebu center, which includes Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ogun Waterside and Ijebu North East will hold at the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Secretariat, Ijebu-Ode, on Tuesday 29th to Wednesday 30th April, 2025 by 8am
The statement further stated that Sagamu center, which include applicants from Odogbolu, Sagamu, Remo North, and Ikenne, will hold at the Sagamu International Stadium, Sagamu on Friday 2nd May, to Saturday 3rd May, 2025, by 8am
Applicants from Yewa North, Imeko Afon, and Abeokuta North will have their screening exercise at the Alaye of Ayetoro Palace, on Monday 5th to Tuesday 6th May, 2025 by 8am
For those in Ilaro, comprises of Yewa South, Ipokia, Ado-Odo/Ota, and Ifo, screening exercise will hold at the Old Palace, Ilaro, on Wednesday 7th May, to Thursday 8th May, 2025, by 8am
Abeokuta South, Odeda, Ewekoro, and Obafemi Owode applicants will have their screening exercise at the Bureau of Establishments and Training (Staff Development Centre) Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, on Friday 9th May to Saturday 10th May, 2025 by 8am
“Applicants are enjoined to check their names at their respective screening centers starting from today ahead of Tuesday 29th April, 2025 screening starting by 8:00am with all required documentation, including proof of identity and other necessary application.
