ABEOKUTA — Two persons were confirmed dead in a fatal crash at Iperu bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Sunday.
This was confirmed in a press statement made available to newsmen by the Federal Road Safety Corps Public Education Officer, Florence Okpe.
Okpe said 3 persons were involved in the accident involving a vehicle with registration number JJJ25HS and a Toyota car silver colour
“The suspected cause of the lone crash was excessive speed which the drive lose control and ran into a drainage by the road side.
“The injured victim was taken to Victory Hospital Ogere for medical attention while the corpses were deposited at FOS morgue ipara.
“The Sector Commander, FRSC Ogun Sector Command CC Anthony Uga advised motorists to drive responsibly and shun excessive speed”, the statement reads
