ABEOKUTA– The residents of Oso Abe Oloba community, in Obafemi-Owode Local Government area of Ogun State have once again cried out that their land is under siege as land grabbers are more daring in their approach to dislodged the residents of the community.
The community also added that the subject land was bought as an acquisition free property, adding that it also got a supreme court judgement in its favour on the said land.
Recall that The News Ville recently reported that the Land Grabbers claimed to have been working on the instructions of the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun claiming the expanse of land belongs to His Excellency.
It was also revealed that the community had earlier sent a petition to the security adviser to the state Governor on this matter and another one to the acting inspector general of the police on the wrong use of the armed mobile police personnel to harrass innocent citizens.
In a related development, residents of the various estates within the community said they acquired the land legitimately from the original owner upon the proof of ownership with the supreme court judgement and upon the investigation that the land was free of acquisition by the Ogun state Government.
“The land was free of acquisition, when we bought our estates.
“Most residents here are civil servants that have invested their hard earned money on these properties”, a resident lamented
