ABEOKUTA– Muslims in Ogun State have been advised to obey government directives on covid-19 by staying at home as they celebrate the Sallah tomorrow.
The Adele of Orile Oko kingdom, Chief Olakunle Olalekan made this known thursday in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, while also felicitating with Muslims as they celebrate salah
The Adele advised Muslims to use Eid-el-fitri prayer to fight corona virus pandemic in the state.
He appreciated the efforts of Ogun state Governor, prince Dapo Abiodun for his efforts towards ending the pandemic in the state.
The Adele said, “i want to congratulate the muslim brother and sisters as they will be celebrating sallah day tomorrow”
“I want to advise them to use the period to pray fervently to end Covid-19 pandemic. I believe the deadly virus has come and it will definitely go. Let’s us be hopeful and have the strong belief”
He therefore urged the residents of Ogun state to support prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration, describing him as an outstanding governor.
