LAGOS– Motorists plying the alagbado, AIT/Raypower road in Ado-Odo/Ota Local government area of Ogun State had an hectic time Wednesday navigating through the less busy road, as the state governor Prince Dapo Abiodun Commission the 4.92km road.
Describing the harrowing experience to our reporter, a commuter simply identified as Sola stated that vehicular movement was at a standstill at Osi axis of Ota, adding that the main road was blocked with the erection of canopies.
The angered commuter maintained that, “As long as we see road constructions and the likes as achievement, it simply means we have a long way to go.
“It would have even been better if they had done it without subjecting the people to trauma, but in my clime, we celebrate mediocrity” he lamented
Another motorist who said that he had to navigate through an adjourning street in an attempt to escape the terrible traffic queried why the state government decided to subject the masses to a terrible and horrific times when the project being commissioned is target at ameliorating their plights.
“Harrowing experience for motorists as vehicular movement was at standstill at Osi axis in Ota this Wednesday morning. No thanks to the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun as the main road was blocked with erected canopies in the name of road commissioning.
“Vehicles had to navigate through adjourning streets in attempt to escape the terrible traffic”, he stated
