Kashamu’s Death: We Have Lost A Promoter Of The Cause Of The Common Man- Ogun IPAC boss Adedamola

Asiwaju Abdul-Lateef Adedamola Adesina, the Ogun IPAC Chairman, has described the death of Sen. Buruji Kasuamu as a colossal loss to the nation.

Speaking to newsmen in Ijebu-Igbo on Sunday, Adedamola described late Kashamu as “a promoter of the cause of the downtrodden”.

“With his death, the nation has lost a bridge builder, a consummate politician, an entrepreneur extraodinare, a father, a friend and above all, a powerful promoter of the cause of the downtrodden.

“Senator Kashamu will go out of his way to make you happy, he doesn’t care who you are and where you come from. We in Ogun IPAC we miss him.

“He was able to touch many lives through his Omoilu Foundation, his programmes were geared towards uplifting the common man from abject poverty.

“He was also a believer in peace, justice and equity as manifested by the way he lived his life. He was a believer in the principles of the rule of law.

“He lived a fulfilled life. He made men, he gave succour to a lot of people, we have lost a true friend of the masses.

“May the good Lord give the nation the fortitude to bear this loss and console the family he left behind,” he said.

Sen. Kashamu died on Saturday, 8th of August, 2020 at the age of 62 after a brief illness.

His remains was interred on Sunday, 9th August, 2020, in his Ijebu-Igbo country home, in accordance with Islamic rites.
