ABEOKUTA– Gift Oba, a reporter with Ogun Watch News Online and 19 other journalists have been shortlisted for the 2024 Female Investigative Reporting Training.
The training, which is the brain child of Women Radio Center, and supported by the Mac Arthur Foundation is in its 3 year running and it’s expected to equip participants with necessary tools in investigative journalism.
The participants who were drawn from different news media across the nation will converged at the Center from Monday, 13th May 2024, for an intensive coaching from different facilitators.
The Women Radio Center for Investigative Reporting is a platform that empowers women in journalism to conduct in-depth investigations and shed light on important stories that might otherwise go untold.
By providing training, resources, and support, the center helps women journalists develop their skills and confidence to tackle complex investigations, promoting a more diverse and inclusive media landscape.
