Attempts To Undermine Oloko’s Legacy Will Not Be Tolerated– Orile Oko Chief

ABEOKUTA– A chief in Orile Oko community has warned that any efforts by mischief makers to undermine the legacies of the late Oloko of Orile Oko, Oba Elijah Agboola Shogbayi will not go unchallenged.

Otunba Samod Ogunsola states this while reacting to news rounds on the circumstances surrounding the death of the monarch, which was reported in some news medium (not The News Ville) as suicide.

Ogunsola, added that the Senior Chief Lisa, who is the interim monarch has initiated legal action against the media outlet for the inaccurate publication, seeking retraction.

“The Orile Oko community is actively addressing and refuting rumours regarding the death of our monarch, Oba Elijah Agboola Shogbayi.

“This decisive response reflects the community’s commitment to honouring the late monarch’s legacy and maintaining his dignity as we collectively mourn his passing.

“The message is clear, any attempts to undermine the legacy of Oba Shogbayi will not be tolerated”, he warned
