ABEOKUTA– A Member representing idiroko ipokia state constituency at the Ogun state House of Assembly, Hon. Bisi Oyedele has bagged the ACE Magazine Award for meritorious service.
Citiside, as fondly called was decorated along others at the event held on Sunday, at the NUJ Secretariat Iwe Irohin Hall, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta, the ogun state capital.
Speaking with newsmen, Hon. Oyedele encouraged the Youth in the state to get involved in politics while also calling for collaborative efforts to end the security challenges in the state.
“I feel elated with the award, being the first award I will get since I assumed office as State House Member, it is a good one to start with, meanwhile, to a sizeable extent the narrative is getting changed, youth are getting involved in politics, as you can see I’m a youth”.
“On security issues, it is a collaborative effort that the youth must be involved with all traditional rulers, and stakeholders must be ready to young hands together”.
Oyedele further reassured his constituents of good representative adding that they had his word and that he would ensure that he represents them well in the legislative arms of the state.
“My constituents had my word already and I will make sure that I represent them well, we give them a good representation at the State House of Assembly”, he added
