ABEOKUTA– The Vice Chairman, NANS Ogun JCC, Comrade Ekundina Segun Elvis has congratulated Comrade Adegboye Olatunji on his victory at the NANS Southwest Zone D Convention.
Elvis, who was also a contestant to the position of the Zone coordinator sent his congratulations in a press statement made available to The News Ville on Monday.
He stated that even though his aspiration was terminated for the better interests of the student body, he promise to continue to contribute his quota as a freedom fighter of the Nigerian students.
“I use this medium to express my gratitude to all Comrades, Senators, Leaders, Cadres, friends (in Nigeria and Diaspora) and the entirety of Nigerian Students who have absolute believe in the repositioning Agenda I have for NANS Southwest.
“Even though my contest have to be terminated for the better interest of the organization and the entire students of the Zone. I wish to state it unequivocally that I would continue to contribute my quota as the freedom fighter of the Nigerian students to ensure I defend the interest of all students across the country.
“Also, I’ll like to congratulate Comrade Adegboye Olatunji Emmanuel of Ogun State, who is the newly elected Coordinator of the Zone. I’ll like to charge him to make interest of Nigerian Students in all the Southwestern states to be his utmost priority and should not be traded for anything.
“As the leader of the Zone, I charge him to ensure all hands are on deck to ensure unity of the Zone.
“I’ll also like to congratulate Comr. Alao John Damilola of Oyo State and Comr. Awoyinfa Opeoluwa (Opiano) of Ondo state that emmerged as the Deputy Coordinator and Public Relations Officer respectively”, the statement reads
