IKOM– The Executive Chairman of Ikom Local Government Area, in Cross River State, Hon. Pst. [Mrs] Mercy Nsor, has announced the formal dissolution of all revenue agencies effective immediately.
This was contained in a statement made available to The News Ville, by her Chief Press Secretary, Ntemoyuk Christopher Ntemoyuk on Thursday.
According to the statement, the decision is aimed at streamlining revenue collection and ensuring transparency and accountability in the management of the council’s finances.
“Henceforth, the Local Government Council Staff are therefore charged with the responsibility of the collection of Revenue in the entire Local Government Area from today, the 18th day of December 2024, to the 31st day of December 2024.
” The Chairman of Ikom LGA has assured that the Dissolution of the Revenue Agencies is in the best interest of the Council and the good people of Ikom LGA.
“For further clarifications/inquiries, all correspondences should be channeled to the office of the Executive Chairman of the Council”, the statement reads
