2023: Justice And Equity Forum Empowers Members With Cash In Ogun

ABEOKUTA –Justice and Equity Forum in Abeokuta South Local Government has empowered All Progressives Congress (APC) members with Cash donation.

The beneficiaries were drawn from the 15 wards in the local government, with each ward presenting 10 beneficiaries each.

Speaking at the presentation, a party chieftain, Aare Remilekun Bakare noted that the gesture is to reassure the party faithfuls of their relevance, adding that the sole aim is to propagate the re-election of Prince Dapo Abiodun, the governor of the state.

“Today, we are presenting this token of N10,000 naira each to 10 beneficiaries from all the 15 wards in the local, as a way of boosting their moral towards the coming elections.

“The Local Government is one and committed to the re-election of our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and our President in waiting, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, he added.

Also, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment, Hon. Farouk Akintunde acknowledged the steadfastness of the party members in the wake of the election that brought in the governor, adding that the fruit of their labour is near.

He added that, “We are appreciating them for their steadfastness, perseverance, commitment, unending loyalty to the party that they have demonstrated many years ago.

” I want to also thank them for the support they have been giving to the number one APC member in Ogun state, prince Dapo Abiodun.

“I charge our party members to come out en mass and vote prince Dapo Abiodun, a man of honour and a unique personality who will fulfill all his promises to the people.

In his remarks, the member, House of Assembly representing Abeokuta South, constituency I, Hon. Temitope Adejojo lauded the achievements of the Dapo Abiodun led administration in the housing, road infrastructures, saying that it is enough for him to be returned for continuity.

“What we are doing here today is to empower members of our party to make sure that they are in a joyous mood during the festive period, in order to encourage them and ensure the success of the party at the next election.

” I want to implore the indigene of Ogun state, especially the Abeokuta south constituency to come out en mass and vote for our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President, Kashim Shettima and also our governorship candidate, prince Dapo Abiodun.

On the other hand, his constituency II counterpart, Hon. Adeyemi Ademuyiwa said the abeokuta south local government structure that brought the APC candidates in the past is still intact, saying that all candidates of the party will triumph at the polls.

“We believe in the structure and we don’t have any doubt. I believe in what governor Dapo Abiodun has achieved so far in Ogun state

“The major reason why we are here today is one to sensitize our people, to let them understand the need to go out and tell people about the achievements our governor.

“Secondly, it is to carry our people along so that they don’t feel left out in our various work through out the local government”, he notes

Party faithfuls present at the event includes: The former secretary to the local government, Alhaji Nuru Ayorinde, all the chairmanship aspirants in the last election now known as G9, Hon. Abiodun Ajayi, DA Councilors, Hon. Tajudeen Egunjobi, SA to the governor on housing, Hon. Biodun Ajayi, commissioner 3, Subeb, among others.
