ABEOKUTA– Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) Ibadan, is set to showcase cocoa technology at a dissemination event in Ogun State.
The event which will hold on Friday at the Oja-Irorun, Oke Mosan Abeokuta will also showcase some cocoa research products, which includes Cocoa bread, cocoa powder, chocolate, Cocoa wine, cocoa butter cream, coffee wine, kola wine, choco gari among others.
The release by the organisers stated that, “The essence of the event is to disseminate CRIN developed technologies for uptake by business men and women, investors, traders and interested members of the public.
“The products can be used to create job opportunities, provide livelihood, empowerment of youths, women as well as boost the nutritional and health status of consumers in Ogun State and Nigeria at large”.
CRIN revealed that some dignitaries from Ogun state government, entrepreneurs and other personalities will be gracing the occassion.
