ABEOKUTA–Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has frowned at the involvement of the former member of House of Representatives (representing Lagos State), Hon Moshood Adegoke (Salvador) with fake Journalists in Ogun State.
Adegoke was duly informed that the Union wouldn’t have bothered to take any actions had the fake Journalists planned the event under a different umbrella and not a very reputable professional body like NUJ.
Regardless of all entreaties, it was reported that Hon Moshood Adegoke insisted on honoring the invite.
His words, “it doesn’t matter, even if I am invited by touts,”.
It will be recalled that in the disclaimer published few hours ago, it was clearly stated that the purported coordinator and the chairman on the invite, Sina Oduntan and Lanre Adegboyega respectively are not recognized members of Nigeria Union of Journalists in Ogun State, Zone, and the national Secretariat.
The Union hereby warned that the general public should not to transact any business or dealings with the impostors.
