INT’L PEACE DAY: Aviary Association Tasks FG On Peaceful Resolution To All National Issues

ABEOKUTA– Aviary Association Worldwide, Gateway Chapter, a non-government association in collaboration with the United Nations has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to find peaceful resolutions to all national issues

Speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta to mark the 2020 International Peace Day, the
South West Coordinator of the association, Mr. Bukola Fabunmi said Nigeria leaders should work harder to achieve peaceful coexistence among Nigerians by not being partial.

The coordinator noted that leaders should make amends with the aggrieved members of the society.

Mr. Fabunmi hinted that Covid-19 pandemic had shaken the source of livelihoods of many Nigerians hence the need to assist the less privileged to ensure they are at peace.

The association called on every Nigerian to embrace peaceful coexistence as a mantra

The Secretary of the of the association, Mr. Dayo Olubiyi in a remark stressed the importance of peace in the society and called for peaceful resolutions of all issues in Nigeria nationhood.

The theme of the 2020 World Peace Day celebration is Shaping Peace Together.
