ABEOKUTA– The Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR has mourned the death of the former Lawmaker, Sen. Buruji Kashamu, describing it a lesson to all
Obasanjo in a condolence message written to the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun stated that he was saddened by the news of the death of the significant citizen of Ogun State.
According to the release, “I received the sad news of the demise of Senator Esho Jinadu (Buruji Kashamu), a significant citizen of Ogun State”
“The life and history of the departed have lessons for those of all us on this side of the veil”
He further maintained that though the late Lawmaker in his lifetime used the maneuver of law and politics to escape from facing justice on alleged criminal offence in Nigeria and outside Nigeria, he finally bow to the cold hands of death.
“No legal, political, cultural, social or even medical maneuver could stop the cold hand of death when the Creator of all of us decides that the time is up” he reteraites
He however prayed that Allah forgive his sin and accept his soul into Aljanah, adding that grant his family and friends fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
