ABEOKUTA– A Polical group known as “Yayi Intellectuals” has inaugurated special executives in Ogun central that will mobilise for the actualization of the governorship ambition of Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi.
The inauguration that took place in Abeokuta had in attendance some APC political leaders and some political groups.
The Representatives from all the local governments under Ogun Central (Abeokuta North & South, Ifo, Ewekoro, Obafemi Owode and Odeda) were present at the inauguration to show support for Senator Yayi.
The Convener in his speech after the inauguration, Hon. Wale Bello said that the group was formed to begin early mobilisation and preparation for the 2027 general election.
He added that the group was formed to mobilise support for Senator Yayi towards the actualization of his governorship ambition.
“Our elders agreed with us. They gave us their support to go ahead with mobilisation of people for active political participation.
“We are inaugurating this group also to work for the victory of our Principal Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi. He is a great performer, a politician with large heart, we all can see what is doing in Ogun West and some parts of Central and East.
“If he becomes the next Governor, he will perform better and that is why, we are behind him and we will not stop supporting him , he deserves to be the next Governor, we are impressed by his giant strides as Senator.
